I just wanted to add that I picked up the Italian 3d version from e-bay and can confirm it is region free. It plays just fine on my Panny bdt330 and my bdt310. I tried to put it in my older non 3d Sony player to see if it will play in 2d, but it is only for 3d playback. The seller I got it from is located in the states and it was 24.95 with shipping included.

Awhile back I bought the Russian version from an ebay seller in Russia. Came with a nice slipcover too.

I wanted that Russian version, it was my first pick, but the delivery time seemed so far away, and I've had really bad luck with importing recently. I wanted instant gratification so I went with the Italian. It looks fantastic! I never thought I'd get my hands on Seventh Son in 3d. An amazing conversion that really has fun with the format.

The 3D is very good indeed. I love The creature design too, everything else is pretty poor though unfortunately, especially the script and performances.

anyone know if the italian version is region locked? I see it saying region B, but i can't find that on the back cover.

I thought all of these were region free.....but I'd wait for confirmation. This site lists my Russian copy as region C but on the back of the cover it shows it's actually ABC so region free.

Great, thank you. FYI, amazon.it has 50% off if you buy 3. Might get this and beowulf which is region free as well. Need a 3rd one and you get some sweet deals.

My pleasure Rob26Smith. I just got the Beowulf 3d like two weeks ago for about 16 bucks. It was a third party seller from amazon US based out of Illinois.

Got it from Amazon Germany. The IMDB score was 5.5 and Metacritic was 30. This is a fun movie with innovative 3d. Game Of Thrones fans should like it. It's going to be one disk I show people how much fun 3d can be, and I have over a hundred 3d disks. Forget the critics on this one.

I just got this (Seventh Son), Beowulf, Final Destination 5 3D, and Noah 3D from Amazon Italy. Hope it is worth importing these in but sounds like they are. They are so much more on Amazon US or ebay... it's crazy. I paid about $50 for all 4 of them shipped to the US.

Yes, enjoy. The 3D in Seventh Son exceeded my expectations for the action scenes, with stronger 3D. There are some medium 3D shots and a few mild shots near the lake home, but generally a solid 3D conversion. Watch for the waterfall scene in 3D.

My order for this from amazon.it got canceled- they say they don't know if they can get it anymore. Are they just impatient or is it actually getting scarce? It's on sale at amazon.de too (though not as cheap), so I'll try again, but that seemed weird.
