Please Patrick do check your PS3 bitrate again they are sometimes higher than 30.

About FOX yes you are right and i was thinking when watching Fantastic Four 2 if my PS3 was hallucinating sometimes the bitrate is over 40.

This happens too in POTC ,anyway Paidgeek may have an answer to this.

And don't you think the PQ on Silver Surfer looks better than SM2 and SM3? I am not saying the PQ on these movies looks anything like bad; I just think it could have looked better than it did if the bitrate had been as high as on recent Fox releases.

Don't play the bitrate game. Seriously. I mean, I just got finished watching Patlabor WXIII from Bandai Visual Japan and it's average bit rate is 37. Doesn't mean it looks better than Spidey or FF2. Hell, the bitrate calculator on it went up to 41.5 at one point based on how it parses out the results.
