Live Free or Die Hard and Looper are two films that come immediately to mind that were from after 1997.

RED would be another, and the sequel was entertaining as well. While he wasn't the star, Moonrise Kingdom can't be ignored either.

There's no point in listing more because he's made plenty of good films besides those since 1997. If a person is going to knock Bruce Willis, they should at least do even a little bit of research before they say something like that.

No offense, but every one of those movies is pure crap, including Looper. IMO of course.

That's fine to have that opinion, but you still can't say he retired in 1997 when he's made several films that are considered good (whether you liked them or not).
