look on amazon marketplace. When it first came out Wal-Mart had it incorrectly priced at $30 (probably mistaken for the dvd version) looks like many bought it and just wanted to sell it. I managed to pick it up for $36 brand new and sealed from marketplace

Got Seasons 1 & 2 on SD-DVD, picture quality is good, programme quality is superb. On par with 24, better than Heroes!

The best way is to rent it. Netflix has them for rent right now. I just finish disc one and disc two is on the way. Picture and sound quality is nice.
The detail is unbelievable. In close up scene you can actually tell how many grey hair the actor has. Yeah, Rent it and let your eyes and ears be the judge of it.

Yes...it's the best Network show hands down...it beats 24 and Lost. Although Prison Break and Lost appeal to different sides of me so I'd say they are very close, but Lost has better Second and Third seasons imo.

Season 1 is a masterpiece and a definit yes for Blu-Ray pickup... that is if you don't mind losing a little bit of sleep for a week or so (once you start to watch you won't want to stop and it WILL cut into normal sleep hours...).

Season 2 (if it ever comes out on Blu-Ray) I would recommend renting... IMHO Season 2 not only lost the edginess and palpable tension of Season 1, it also is very hard on the brain with so many inconsistencies you just want to throw your remote at the TV and can't help but scream at least twice every episode from the stupidity

Season 3 --> the jury is still out but, so far, it's much better then Season 2. If Season 3 turns out to be on par or close to Season 1 (so far so good), then Season 2 will have only served as a "bridge" to make the story make sense in Season 3... and nothing more.

Season 2 is defined better as "OK, we're on episode 23 of what was supposed to be 13, what the hell do we do now"?

At the end of 13, originally, they escaped and made it to panama, yay.

I hope that they escape isn't a spoiler for a show called "prison break"
