Oh man and it looks like they took the cheap route, they stamped the Blu-ray on instead of the imbedded version in the past two.

It is because it is a two disc set. Sony used the same exact type of case for Superbad. I really like the texture/embossing of the slip cover of Pirates 3, very classy.

No curve due to so many actors appearing on the cover would be my guess... couldn't fit them if the curve was there...

I'll chime in on this one. It looks magnificent (got mine last week) and sounds perfect

Very much enjoyed the Blu experience of PoTC3.

Disney said they were eliminating the swoosh a few months back

Just like we had to nag them for a year or 2 to get rid of the "Widescreen" arch on DVD

definitely (the UK version). They even have french (French is normally excluded in UK releases until recently - they had norwegian/danish/english most of the time, but recently changed to french). j'adore francais.

Thumbs up Disney does it again: POTC At World's End - PQ/AQ: 5 Stars

Looks like Disney has done another exceptional job. HighDefDiscNews gives it almost a perfect score across the board. Check it out.

It really looks like Disney is the champion of the Blu-ray cause. I am looking forward to adding this to my collection.

I will be getting this one for sure now that my brother and I have an Onkyo TX SR-805 for the uncompressed audio. I may be getting Superbad, but will most likely rent this one from Blockbuster.
