Expect a 2 discs release like POTC1 and 2

If you get lucky you'll be able to watch your very own pirates of the caribbean film soon enough.. Universal are sure to bring out Swashbuckler to HD DVD..

POTC 3 was in the theater so recently, and now they've put it on BD already. This proves how fast they can make BD movies. If they only put this efficiency to all the older good movies!

Even though I like to keep complete sets I wont' be getting POTC III. Too boring. I got I and II though.

Same here. I feel like I SHOULD buy POTC3, but it wasnt really all that great to me. Very slow.

I didn't even go to the cinema to see it.

I am looking forward to watching it though for the first time with 24-bit PCM and flawless 1080p picture, the kind that only Blu-ray can deliver on a consistent basis.

If anything it will serve as demo material alongside Spider-man 3, Cars, etc.

I enjoyed it-my favorite part by far was the very beginning with the hangings/Pirates chant/etc.

I have a question for people that order stuff through Amazon, do you guys get your preoders on the release date? I have ordered stuff from them before with the free shipping and it takes about a week later to get (on things that have already been released, no preorders).

I get my stuff on release day because I am a Prime member and have the shipping set as such.
