I love both of them and I would die to see that. I really would have preferred Kate Beckinsale as Talia.

I think Kate might have given her a run for the money - but with the film with who they made, Selina would have kicked Talia's behind, LOL.

I like Hathaway in general, but as Catwoman is my favorite comic character I was sooooooo worried how it was going to turn out. I just couldn't see it. But she exceeded any hopes I had, and then some. The only tiny thing I wished was that at some point she would have wielded a whip - say, in a fight she ended up grabbing a cord or other whip-like item, at least once. Just a nod. ;-)

As to the Son of Batman title...I'm softening, a bit. I'll preorder it once it's available. I know I am going to get it anyway, so might as well - I have the full collection so far, can't stop now. LOL.

I love Bruce Timm's shit but people seriously need to move on from that era and go with the actual comics/New 52 era imo.

To be honest, the New 52 "reboot" hasn't really made it easy for people to move on.

DC Animation doesn't need to take any pages from Marvel's book. Marvel has more of a pamphlet, anyway.

You can't really tell this story without finishing it. The 70 or so minute run time can't bring out the nuances of Morrison's story.

Overall, it should still come out as an enjoyable film. There are some pretty cool things that would translate well to the animation like Damian's fight with Tim Drake and the Man-Bat soldiers of Talia's army.

Hopefully this could lead to some Batman, Inc animated movies.
