And Pre-ordered! took the chance to also nab the Free Canvas art print (first 2000 orders) as well.....although with it being shipped half way round the world I'm not too sure if it will arrive in good condition!

In case anyone hasn't seen it Sin City 2 3D is due to release on 11/18.

not sure if this is the right place to post this, but i just received a call from best buy saying that the original order i placed for the best buy exclusive was actually for the regular steelbook release. the skew for the item i ordered was 8047052 but apparently the correct skew for the exclusive was 8047025. just a heads up for those that like me ordered what they thought was the exclusive, which i preordred for 18.99, you may have also accidently ordered the regular one which now is up for preorder at 24.99

Though it's not listed as 3D on Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ), it's only coming out at retail with one sku unless it's an exclusive. Check out the sleeve pic they're using (3D!).

One SKU is how Lionsgate usually does it, which is good because that means you can rent it at Redbox in 3D, and even more importantly EVERYBODY who buys the movie gets the 3D copy, so even if they're not 3D-equipped right now it might encourage them to be in the future! Plus none of that "store didn't have the 3D version" crap either.

Glad to see they've gotten back on track with this one, don't know what the hell happened with Step Up All In.

Yes this will undoubtedly be a one sku release like Dredd.

It says 3 discs on amazon and its the same cover i posted with 3D blu ray, 2D blu ray, DVD listed at the top.

So this will likely not have a 2D release which really doesnt bother me because i am gonna get the 3D release anyway

Cool cover art. I would hope it does better on home video. The 3D was really solid most of the way.

The 3d was awesome although it had the most ghosting of any theatrical 3d movie I've ever seen. Still, the 3d layering and depth coupled with the stylistic visuals makes this one of my most anticipated 3d blu-ray releases of 2014, a close second to Guardians of the Galaxy. It will be interesting to find out how the home release fares with ghosting/crosstalk compared to the theatrical presentation.

Jay,

You're right, this does have a lot of ghosting even if sitting at the right angle, mostly due to the limited 3D glasses we have not being able to make each opposing eye completely blacked out.

Some light still shows through and with strong 3D and a high contrast movie like Sin City 2, ghosting is inevitable, but honestly, welcome, as I rather have strong 3D with ghosting than mild 3D with none (Tron Legacy being a good example).

That is nice the walmart is giving away the Sin City 1 for free with this one.
