Not in Europe, and I believe it is Region A only in the US. It is coming to Dutch FilmWorks BR and HD DUD at the end of this month. So not 2008. My misstake.

+1.......... i remember the old days when i got 5.1 surround and had my Dad watch it with me... He went out the next day and bought the same receiver ! Never owned it on DVD but would buy in BLU right away !
