I HATE found-footage horror films (they've been milked dry and there's nothing original left), however I did enjoy the adventure element to this year's As Above, So Below. So if this is similarly themed it could be good.

So you don't really hate found footage films that much after all, but you said what you think is the popular thing to say.

I said I enjoyed the adventure element to As above, so below but it would have been better if it wasn't found footage. My main gripe with found footage is that it's a) lazy and b) boring that for the first half of the movie nothing scary at all happens, ABSB avoided this by having an entertaining story. And whilst I like Blair Witch project there are always some exceptions to the rule. But seeing as I've seen 8-9 FF films this year and only enjoyed one of them, I would say my opinion of them stands

This was awful. The last maybe 15 minutes are kind of entertaining but everything before it was dreadfully dull. The acting was pretty bad too.
