third version is Cut US TV version so doubt anyone would want that
Unrated and Integral versions are enough for me

The page on Arrow's shop is a bit unclear and only mentions the booklet and packaging as limited features. Have Arrow mentioned more somewhere else? Is the R-rated cut on disc 3 exclusive to the limited edition (and is there any particular reason why someone should own the R-rated cut, beside eventual nostalgia)?

** BRIDE OF RE-ANIMATOR FULL SPECS & ARTWORK **

The time has come to reveal full details of our upcoming Bride of Re-Animator release.
The packaging will be fully embossed, much like our Society limited edition set.

This set is limited to 5,000 copies in the US and 5,000 copies in the UK - and has almost sold out in North America!

DATE. MATE. RE-ANIMATE.

The success of Stuart Gordon’s hit horror-comedy Re-Animator meant that a sequel was all but inevitable. The resulting follow-up, Bride of Re-Animator – this time helmed by director Brian Yuzna (Society, Return of the Living Dead III) – would prove that there was a good deal more life (and death) left in the story of Dr Herbert West and his ghoulish exploits.

It has been eight months since the bloody massacre at Miskatonic Medical School. Unperturbed by the disastrous outcome of his previous meddling with the dead, Dr West (again played by Jeffrey Combs) continues his research into the phenomenon of re-animation; only this time, he plans to create life – starting with the heart of his young protégé Dan’s dearly deceased, Meg Halsey. Surely nothing could go wrong?

With special effects master Screaming Mad George (the man behind the infamous “shunting” sequence of Society) on hand to contribute a host of characteristically weird and wonderful creations, Bride of Re-Animator is a more than worthy successor to Stuart Gordon’s original cult classic.

Looks awesome, just cannot wait to have it in hand and watch it. This is looking like the best £10 I've spent in a long time

The 2K restoration will be included in a forthcoming regular edition?

The only things indicated as exclusive to the limited edition are the packaging, the booklet with an essay, the bound comic book re-print, and the R-rated cut.

I did buy the Society LE, which had similar exclusives, but this time I think I will also sit out. Would like to read the comic book, but I have no interest whatsoever in the R-rated cut, and I am indifferent to the packaging and the essay.

Too many other box sets coming and out from Arrow, I'd rather use my money on.

The unrated disc will be identical across Limited and Regular editions, am sure of that. Can do without the R-rated cut and comic book swag.

I preordered this from Amazon but if the price does not hit $19.99 by release I will likely cancel and wait it out too. Probably will never watch the R rated cut and definitely will never look at the swag.

Plus, a regular Blu-ray case better matches the original US on Blu.

The R-Rated disc does have the "Behind-the-Scenes Reel" which will be exclusive to the steelbook. Not sure how long or interesting that will be, but may be worth the extra for some.

Thanks for that, in that case I may cancel my Amazon order and wait for the single release I don't care for all the swag nor the digipak.

Is there any garantee of the single release?

It's Arrow, they release a regular version not too long after the limited has sold out. They did it for Videodrome and Society.

Saying that, I'm so glad I got my preorder in for this, looks amazing!
