I need to pick up the Target version of Catching Fire. I bought the regular edition, but if the style matches here - I'll go ahead and pick it up.

I'm becoming such a big fan of this series, and it's caught me by surprise. I read the books while I was sick right before the first film came out, and enjoyed them quite a bit. Same with the first film.

But then Catching Fire came out and I loved it. Now, I've seen Mockingjay Part 1, and - to put it plainly - I was blown away. I remember approaching the novels with some trepidation, since they were Young Adult books. But the movie I just saw is just insanely great Science Fiction, period.

It's so nice to be caught off guard every once in a while.

We don't know what the exclusive will look like for this. Seeing as the first two were different.

I haven't read the books yet. I will wait until the movies are over. But glad that you enjoyed them.

Glad that you liked MJ1 so much. Now until wait until next year for MJ2.

I really wouldn't even call these YA. When you think of YA you think of Twilight and all those other book like Mortal Instruments and Beautiful Creatures. THG is leaps and bounds above those. And far transcends the genre of YA if you wanna call it a genre.

You're right. I think a more apt thing to say would be that, from an outside perspective, it had the appearance of YA novels (the love triangle did a lot to push that impression on me). But once I read the novels, that assumption faded away.

A great example of the old adage "never judge a book by its cover".

Don't even get me started. Talk about a painfully long intermission. Though at least I know what happens. I imagine you must be losing your mind.

Target and Lionsgate/Summit kept the Catching Fire design for Divergent. I hope they continue with it, even though it's G1.

Maybe they'll redo the first one as well?

I think it was called that cause as you said the love triangle, and plus the characters were teens. But beyond that nothing alike. Especially when it leaves with kids murdering other kids and slowly turns into a war series.

I know, right? Oh, you can only imagine. Can I go into hibernation until next November? Or at least to the start of summer.
