Nonetheless, I wouldn't be surprised if this outsold Rat. It does hit the demographic a bit better than rat and most comedies or animation I believe. And given the timing, relation to christmas, and influx of new owners, I think sales of that sort are hardly out of the question.

If this came out right next to Rat, maybe not, but when it's set for release...seems quite reasonable.

I really think this will be right on par with Ratt and maybe even better...

I know people who went to see Ratt and were the target audience (mother with a child) and they didn't like Ratt that much...

but the Simpsons covers a wider range of people who may want it....but Ratt is really just a kids movie...

yeah, LFoDH is understandable....but even I feel a little funny doing it because I'm not into the whole "internet acronym" thing...

but RTLE is just crazy....

I am looking forward to seeing the simpsons movie, I didnt get to see it in the theater, but my home theater is almost as good

I think The Simpsons Movie will do very well on sales. The movie was amazing, and that will help. Even Spider-man 3, which was a pretty good movie, made a new record for sales.

I think being exclusive to Blu-ray it's going to smoke the unit numbers that Shrek 3 did on HD DVD, totally smoke it.
When the YTD numbers are put out for 2007 we'll see and you know for sure that Home Media Magazine will put them out sometime in January.

No wonder I couldn't figure out what movie RTLE was...

Acromyms are for phrases or titles with more than one word.

i.e. Live Free or Die Hard = LFoDH

Abbreviations are for shortening a long word.

i.e. Ratatouille = Rata.
