I went down to my local wooloworths after reading this.. they had the covers in HD-DUD cases.. as to be expected.

I was a bit disappointed actually.. I was looking forward to having a rant!

Many stores put out empty placeholder cases and have the discs under lock and key behind the counter or in storage to prevent theft.
