Was this intentional to put a show ad on your Blu-ray movie.Or was this some sort of joke that I didn't get ? Here is the link to the picture I took off my TV

Yes, it is both a joke and intentional. The Simpsons team is taking a shot at Fox for their constant, shameless self-promotion.

Yes. It was obviously intentional. Heck, it's sometimes difficult now to wade through the ads you get at the beginning of SD/Blu-ray movies these days. I think Fox was trying to lampoon their own tendency to advertize at every conceivable moment and spot.

I watched The Simpsons Movies last night and thoroughly enjoyed it, BTW.

I was surprised that they didn't make it as huge and intrusive as their regular ads. The worst ones are when they do it over the baseball or football score.
