2 Was horrible, Willis has even admitted this. 1 is by FAR the best. #3 was a funny and an honorable addition to the Die Hard series but it had an odd ending. #4 was good also, well made movie but not even close to the 1st one. Easy call....

Watched the original last night. Wow. It still holds up and is engaging and suspensful as it was the first time I watched it. It is perfectly paced, the story is not contrived and its momentum builds to the end.

4 is still next in line, and as Willis says, feels like a Die Hard movie.

I really dislike 2 probably more because of the director's style and too many sequel cliches.

3 is good, but not a Die Hard movie to me.

I don't think that Die Hard 2 is getting enough love here. Though 2 is the worst one of the series, it's still a damn good action film. The fight on the wing of the plane was awesome! I agree about Renny Harlin though. Most of his movies are pretty bad (DH2, Cliffhanger, and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane being the exceptions).

First one is the best.

Second one is the worst.

Third is the second best.

Fourth is the third best.

Die Hard with a Vengence - Samuel Jackson was a great sidekick.

I agree. Though its my least favorite its still better than most of the action movies you see today. Id throw in "The long Kiss Goodnight" as a good Renny Harlin flick.
