Has blu-ray brought you back into gaming?

I was a big Nes, Sega genesis and Snes gamer back in the day and then played some ps1 and n64 with my roommates in college but after that I pretty much stopped gaming all together for a decade until this last year when I picked up a ps3 for a blu ray player. I feel like I am reading something that I typed. This is almost 100% how I feel. Total NES and Super NES nerd in HS. Bought a ps1 in college but didn't play much. Same for ps2, used more for DVD player.

I bought the ps3 last year for blu with my 1080p tv, but ended up getting hooked on Madden. THen I played Warhawk, It's like I'm a kid again. I was like a kid on xmas morning when madden 08 came out, although it was a let down. I have a 5 yr old and he tries warhawk and I bought him lego star wars and he loves it.

Been gaming again since we got our Xbox..so no...but it did bring me back into movies .. something that had been in decline for the last several years..

PS3 is a great Blu-ray player so why not get the best out of your money.
