I welcome any chance to upgrade even if it's just bonus features. It keeps the hobby fun since catalog titles seem to be slowing down. Thank God for Kino getting so much of MGM's catalog, though.

I think the only movies I bought twice on blu-ray so far are "The Expendables", largely due to the second release being an alternate cut, the original Halloween II (So I can have "Terror in the Aisles" and the original HD transfer before SF did their "grain removal", all while also having the SF release in the box set) both Rob Zombie Halloween movies, due to the box set not containing the original theatrical cuts and the Canadian Alliance blu-ray actually having said theatrical cuts in a double feature.

Too many! ...

2001:A Space Odyssey (regular and one of a triple pack)
Blade Runner (regular and 5-disc set)
Casablanca (regular and Special Edition)
Chinatown (regular and Steelbook)
A Clockwork Orange (one of a triple pack and a separate digibook)
Fantastic Mr. Fox (regular and Criterion)
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (box set and single release)
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (regular and remastered)
How to Marry a Millionaire (box set and single release)
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (regular and Criterion)
Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959) (regular and remastered)
Lord of the Rings trilogy (as singles and the box set)
The Misfits (box set and single release)
River of No Return (box set and single release)
The Seven Year Itch (box set and single release)
Some Like It Hot (box set and single release)
Take This Waltz (I made the mistake of lending this out [to a sibling] and it was never returned)
There's No Business Like Show Business (box set and single release)
To Kill a Mockingbird (regular and digibook)
Zulu (UK version and Twilight Time's)

EDIT: I was a sucker for the cover art on the separate Marilyn Monroe blurays, which is why I doubled up on those titles from what I already owned in the Forever Marilyn box set.

I didn't buy movies for a long time because I was working overseas, so I really only started buying in earnest a couple years ago and missed a lot of early editions. I did buy Robocop again for the 4k remaster though, and will be buying Goodfellas again for the same reason.

I also owned the original Spider-Man trilogy set before going overseas but gave it to a relative's kid, then bought the new set when I came home.

I watched it not long ago and I definitely noticed all the IMAX scenes and there seemed to be quite a few. Reading elsewhere, everyone seems to agree that the IMAX one is the one to watch - better than the 3D one too. I also noticed that the AQ wasnt overblown on this one unlike my old UK 3D limited steelbook (which I sold for the price I paid for it).

Canadian one came up on offer a while ago and I imagine it will do so again at some point. Think I paid £18 including shipping which isnt bad considering I sold my two steelbooks for much more than that.

Only three:
1) The NeverEnding story. Bought the Dutch version, followed by the U.S. version, than the German extended cut and finally the newest U.S. Version.
2) Delta Force: Bought the single copy at Walmart for about five bucks and then Amazon had a triple Chuck Norris set for Nine bucks that included Delta Force and that was a lot cheaper than buying the other two Norris flicks by themselves.
Patton: Had the original blu than replaced it with the newer, better blu and sold the inferior one on Ebay.

Im not really fussed about bonus features or special editions so only Fargo, Robocop & Eraserhead that I can think of.

Oh and the DE version of Donnie Darko (no DNR)

It's so simple and understated, but there's so much genuine emotion in the eyes. Absolutely fantastic.

Just the Halloween films. I had 1-6 on stand alone Blu-ray, then bought the 35th Anniversary Edition of H1 in 2013. Then I got last year's box set. And honestly, if it hadn't been for the inclusion of the H6 Producer's Cut in full HD glory, I probably would have been content with the stand alones I already had.

The two I probably bought the most versions of are:
Jaws: VHS, Widescreen VHS, Widescreen Laserdisc, DVD and Digibook Blu-Ray
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: VHS, Widescreen VHS, Widescreen Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray and soon Blu-Ray Steelbook.

It's happened a lot lately, collection buys + buying in bulk are the main culprits.

Big bang theory - dups of season 1-5 (got 5 season for 10$, planning to sell easily)
bourne identity - bought collection
3:10 to yuma - bulk buy
x-men daysof.... regular and 3d sentinel packaging
amazing spiderman 3set, 4set(3d), 4k remaster
the hangover - bulk
pain and gain - bulk
the dark knight - lost bonus disc
prometheus - regular and 3d
harry p: half blood
xmen 1-3 - bought the 1-3+first class
spiderman 3 - bought trilogy

think it's time to list some of these to sell
