I have got to have this, along with The Monster that Challenged the World. Want many, many more of these 50's horror and sci-fi flicks. More, more, more ! ! !

It's up for pre-order now. Although, it's $30!!! Definitely NOT worth forking $30 over. I'm sure the price will come down soon enough.

Yeah, I ordered it because I know it'll go down to 19.99 in a few weeks.

Oh, and Ben I'd love The Monster that Challenged the World on BD as well. I'll not be letting that double feature go...

I know it's already been mentioned before now, but the only reason I'm now going to trade off the double-feature is because Kino had already announced Monster that Challenged the World. Don't you worry, I will be getting both.

Too bad they couldn't include the fantastic trailer, which really plays up the power of subliminal messages. For that reason alone I wish KINO was releasing this as they probably would have secured the trailer.

On another note, I once bought an analog international time zone wall clock at a flea market here in Los Angeles. I had never seen anything like it before and since it still worked I gladly paid the five bucks for it. Imagine my surprise when I saw it hanging up in the spaceship in this movie. I'm sure I don't have the same one used in the movie, but it's cool that the prop team thought it looked uniquely futuristic enough to use on a spaceship.

I know we're the fan base for this movie and as such we need to keep this going to let the studios know that there is great potential for releasing all the other great old SciFi movies of the past on Blu-ray. If anything , so we can preserve these films and pass them down before there maybe lost forever.

For this movie, they just photographed it in profile (and added some more windows) so that you couldn't see the wings. They wanted it to look like a tubular missile. But this is what the ship looks like (my 18" version):

Very nicely done!

Great news on this title. I've never seen it widescreen so that'll be another treat. Now could somebody please release another low budget gem from the '50s-The Man From Planet X?

...which is why Double Features should be done with shorter titles.

Length of the film has nothing to do with price. These companies are a business trying to stay in business. You either decide to buy the product, or pass. The price will drop on Amazon and Im sure Import CDs will have it for under 20.00
Its going to look the best it ever has and that alone is worth it to me

I can't believe that, after all these years, there are people who are still ignorant of the concept of MSRP.

It's as if some people have never ordered anything online before. Obviously the price will drop significantly before release day. Seriously, how are there people who don't get that?

Low price. No extras. Double features. Crank em out. Then I will be happy and buy them all.

That's some naive thinking.

Pass then. A bare bones 69 minute B-movie needs to be priced appropriately. You can get it on DVD as part of a double feature for $6.50.
