Best season of the series in my opinion. Each season keeps getting progressively better too.

My guess on the limited edition set would have to be a replica model of the Terminus "A" Train car. Seems fitting. If they were to do a flare-gun zombie bust, it'd be too much of a rehash of season two's screwdriver zombie.

How about a Terminus BBQ boxset with a menu insert?

Horse being eaten by zombies?

Because of the mid season finale format, the early half of the season is so distant i barely remember some of it
[Show spoiler]and since the latter half of the season focused more on inside the walls human stuff, i can't recall many memorable zombies.

Will probably be the military zombie with the helmet/grenades, if anything.. the one previously mentioned, the "silencer head zombie" seems cool on paper but not so sure about in person..
That is the problem I had with the Season 4 special edition. When they posted a picture of the "tree zombie" I couldn't even remember that happening.

My hunch is that whatever the limited edition set is, it's probably something from earlier in the season. That's usually been the case for past limited editions and the reason why is probably related to the time needed to design and build it.

I wish they'd include episodes of Talking Dead as part of the features for season 5. There are some fun moments in it (especially whenever Yvette Nicole Brown is on) and I'd love to see them again at some point. I know it's a bit of a stretch to think it'd ever happen but it'd be nice.

Really bored of this show during season 4 and was gonna give it up. Then I read season 5 was a homerun and the best season ever for the show. Now I don't know what to do!

Have until August to decide I guess.

I have said this to people before. It would be cool if they could incorporate it into the "play all" feature. Have one that is just "play all episodes" and another that is "play all episodes with Talking Dead". That way you can watch both shows they way they aired but still binge watch.

I thought it was far and away the worst season! It still had it's moments but the show is really losing steam.... hoping next year is much better.

Do these Blu-ray sets usually go on sale for Black Friday? I just got into the show this past winter (the first episode I ever saw was actually "Slabtown" from this season when I was at a friend's house). I of course binge-watched the show shortly after the mid-season finale (the week of Christmas was when I started season 2 and ended up finishing in like a week and a half). I'm hooked and I'd definitely love to own the show in HD.

But the prices for the sets are a little bit high for my liking (like season 1 right now on Amazon is $19.99... for six episodes! ). I'd definitely buy them for a bit cheaper though.

The first 11 episodes of S5 are even worse than the first half of S4. The last 5 are okay but, nothing special. I wouldn't recommend getting back into the series, personally.

With Season 4 I at least found binge watching the season to be a lot more enjoyable. But, watching the marathon of Season 5 did nothing for me.

This is BD.com. There are some people here with 5 copies of the same disc(s).

Simply put, it's one of my favorite shows; Although I agree there is no logical or practical reason to own multiple copies of Blu rays, its still something I like to do. I always pick up the special editions because they're awesome, then when the steelbooks came out I wanted to pick those up because again, they're awesome. The standard editions I bought last year when season 4 came out and best buy was running a sale for buy more save more on all the seasons, plus I had rewards to use so I ended up not paying much of anything for them.

They go on sale every now and then. I think I've seen season 1 as low as $10, but it might've been the $13 I paid a couple years ago (just before BF time). The other seasons I think bottomed around $20-25 (standard versions of course), but they are 13-16 eps.
You might want to try amazon, ebay, or any local used store or pawn shop to save a few bucks.
