True...but if a 3D movie has an extended cut, I never watch the theatrical in 2D. It's always either 3D or extended for me.

I also find it difficult to watch anything in 2D if I know there's a 3D version of it. I feel like I'm missing out watching something in 2D, unless the 3D is very mild.

Wow, this clip is dark! Even turning settings brighter didn't help. Of course, I know it's not indicative of how the movie will actually look. It does display strong depth and that's promising. Let's hope that if they do release an R-rated version, it will also be in 3D.

Does anybody know which theaters will have the special 3D glasses? It just says in select theaters everywhere I look.

The fight in the warehouse could be better lit, agreed. It's the Dark Knight though, so I get what they were going for.

Looks like any theater that offers Real D will have the special Batman v Superman 3D glasses of Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman.

I like the Batman 3D glasses. Probably first come first serve till they run out of stock fast.

I'll probably end up seeing it with the Clark Kent glasses. That is, regular Real D glasses.

That's true, the regular 3D glasses being Clark Kent's. Good one Interdimensional. My theaters rarely ever have any of these special edition glasses left over since they don't order enough of them for opening weekend. After that, just regular real D glasses.

The only time I ever got one was the Darth Maul themed one for the Phantom Menace re-release and that was close to two weeks into its run (anyway, I'm seeing BvS in digital IMAX so will just be the standard IMAX glasses in that case anyway).

We have gotten the glasses from all the big 3D releases as decoration for the top of our 3D blu shelf. Looks pretty cool, and the kids like them.

I called our Cinemark and was told they didn't get any.

I don't go to the theater, but I have a large video collection (2D & 3D).

I'm always amazed to hear they give away 3D glasses at the show, much less custom ones.

I haven't been to a theater for almost 10 years. Those custom glasses look cool though.

That's a bummer. Hopefully my Cinemark has them.

If you pick the right times, the theaters aren't always packed with crowds. I always avoid Friday and Saturday nights to see a new movie in theaters.

Got mine a few weeks ago for an IMAX 3D screening this Friday. Considering how fast its selling, gonna buy more tickets at least a few days in advance.

I think I'll skip this in cinemas and wait for 3D blu. Hoping the first hour and a half isn't as dull as reviews suggest.

Has anyone come across a review that says whether or not to see this in 3D?
Taking a family of four so if it's not worth it I'd rather save the money and just get standard tickets.

I don't know if it's been discussed, but apparently the film was framed for IMAX and LIEMAX. The amount of image you lose is kind of astounding.

So, maybe see it that way?

I just came back from a preview screening. The previews in my area are all in the dubbed version so I can’t comment on the acting properly. I may revisit the movie with my wife in a week or two and in an English screening.

Nonetheless: I liked it a lot. Really a lot. I felt like a kid in the candy store with plenty of dreams come true. But be aware: I love MOS as well and watched it numerous times on Blu-ray (last time yesterday in preparation of the event). I’m even one of those few who like Iron Man 3, including the twist with the Mandarin. But I never could care much about the two Avengers movies due to the missing soul.

I can understand that this will divide the audience as MOS did. It is very similar. It takes its time to build up the characters, their motivation and relationships. Not a simple popcorn movie.

Since we are in the 3D section: Excellent depth and volume. Only a couple of pop outs though (if you care). A strong recommendation for a 3D screening from my side (but hopefully in a better equipped theatre than the one I went since we had lots of crosstalk due to the strong depth).

Trailers in 3D: Cap 3, Ghostbusters and X-Men. All very nice 3D wise with Cap 3 the best and Ghostbusters the last (but this one with plenty of pop outs). The Suicide Squad Trailer was only shown in 2D.
