sony's not the only one doing it, besides, they paid for that movie, so they deserve the publicity. on the other hand, transformers is basically a long GM commercial that would have been 'better suited' on blu.

you guys are saying that bond was giant billboard for sony. How about transformers. Did u really had to have a robot made out of an xbox and a mountain dew pop machine and nokia phone. In bond it was subtle , but in transformers it was blatant.

exactly... BUT... Bond used Blu, we saw it the movie. I didn't ever see Optimus Prime use DUD. And you won't see Optimus Prime use DUD coz I'll bet you he's blu. He would have been better suited in blu.

Default Lowry

When the Lowry-restored James Bond saga is released on BD GoldFinger will rival Casino Royal for video quality! I picked it up on SD-DVD and upscaled blew me away. I cannot imagine what It will look like in 1080P.

Hmm, a movie with Decepticons and a plug for a Microsoft product. Coincidence? I say no

Wow, For once Macbook is not being used in a movie. I could have sworn that all the movies that I see almost 98% of the characters in the movie use Mac.

Its amazing how much detail the bluray and my 65 inch screen can show. I noticed in 28.34 in the movie, the player we is using for the security camera CD/DVD is a bluray player. Thought that was a PLUG PLUG for SONY. GO SONY, lol

Anybody else catch it. If not pause it at 28.24 and u will see the bluray logo on the cd tray.

Yep, noticed it the second time. When I saw it in the theaters, I didn't even know what Blu-ray was.

I noticed it the first time in the theater and kinda smirked. What security cams use High Def Blu-ray Discs?

Don't forget that the entire movie itself is an advertisement for Hasbro's Transformers toys after all
