American Pie Unrated 4-Movie Collection Blu-ray

I wonder if the quality is going to be better than the already released ones.

Based on a quick glance of the Extras from the set, it doesn't look like the "Beneath the Crust" Volumes 1 & 2 DVD's contents are on any of the discs in this set. Bummer, I was hoping to get rid of those, too.

Edit: Nevermind. They're all on there. Both Volumes are contained in the American Pie Revealed bonus feature. Yea!!

Any pics of the set anybody could take? I just want to know if it's a digipack or a slightly wider 4-disc case with a slip like "The Incredibles" or something.

And thanks for the info given so far, from what I gather this is not sold in Best Buy or Target buy *may* come to Walmart on 4/26.

Its a fatter case but no wider than a regular bluray case and has 2 flipper trays that hold 2 discs each.

I don't know the terminology, but wider like The Incredibles case or just a regular blu-ray case they somehow got 4 discs in? Realize I'm beyond redundant asking for pics, sorry everybody.

I was just saying that the AP movies are tame in comparison to Porky's. That was my meaning.

I've only watched the first two (and that was long time ago I do admit) but the films still feel more safe to me. The AP movies felt cheesy and unauthentic. The "funny" stuff came off as a stupid and lame instead of funny. The movies are very polished and somewhat sentimental despite the antics.

The antics in Porky's came off as more spontaneous and realistic to me. I think the difference is that I don't feel like I know these kind of people from AP. Being from the south, the characters from Porky's seem far more realistic.

But these teen comedies strike people differently. Some people relate to the AP movies, and some relate more to Dazed and Confused or Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

I like Porky's, but these movies have more heart and soul. Better character development and more likeable characters.

As far as the the edginess, it's kind of relative to the time. I think both franchises pushed it pretty far relative to their time period.

I saw this at FYE for less than $24.99. It came with a slip.

Too bad I have 3 of the 4. I just need American Pie 2.
