About $36.00 US, with shipping. Its not like I haven't paid more for movies I want. The price actually dropped by two pounds when I preorded it. I didn't think it was too bad. You can pay that much for some at Best Buy! And I can always cancel it due to unforseen circumstances. (well, maybe not so unforseen if you listen to some people.)

Default Beowulf Blu-ray (U.K Release) is a Warner title - region free?

In case you're interested, it's up for pre order.

Yes, all WB titles american or english are region-free.
The only difference is the UK case is thicker then the american.

This has nothing to do with Beowulf, but I was looking at that site and I wish we got some of the same cover art as they do. I love the 3:10 to Yuma cover much better than the American release.

Anybody knows if it will have lossless sound and if it's a BD25 or BD50.

I'll import it only if it a quality encode...

Default Beowulf import from UK

Okay, I don't really know anything about imports seeing as I have never done it, but I noticed that Beowulf was coming to Blu-Ray in March in the UK I became interested. I have seen in many of these posts that Warner is region free all over the world. But does someone have conformation that this release will be region free, because I don't want to order it and pay $35 dollars for something that isn't going to work. Thanks in advance.

lol, another American who has never purchased from another country. Anyways you won't get the confirmation that you want until it is released. Until then, you should just take the word from people who know what they are talking about.

Cool

I have a lot of interest in this title as well, but I'm from Canada. Can anyone point me to a site where I can order Beowulf and get it shipped to Canada?

And I'm sure it will be region free, but I can't confirm this yet.

Amazon.co.uk is your friend. And Sendit.com, and Choicesuk.com, and Bensonsworld.co.uk, and many others. All trusted e-tailers -- shop around for best deals and best shipping charges.

The UK release of Beowulf seems to give the Paramount US release a run for its money, but we don't have exact specs just yet.

Bear in mind that if you order from Amazon.co.uk they knock VAT (approx 15%) off the price of all overseas orders.

I read somewhere that Bensonsworld was going out of business at the end of this month, I'll see if I can find some solid details.

All my UK WB blu's are region free.. it's highly unlikely this will be any different!

How ever, I can confirm it the day of it's release.
