This is great, I always took issue with the current Blu-ray for having weird issues with the brightness/black levels. Never had to adjust my TV more than when I watched that.

OH GOD YES. I've just been wanting a new BD but this is even better!

Thinking more about, I'm positive there will be a standard BD to go along with it since next year is the film's 25th anniversary. Could be what Warner is planning this for.

I understand your side of things. I still think if the actual product being sold is a UHD (i.e black case) then it should be put here. It becomes a slippery slope if every future UHD catalog title gets a BD thread based off presumptions of it using the same master as the UHD. It fractures discussions between two threads.

Warner should very well be putting out a standalone BD release if the included BD disc is sourced from the remaster too. And if/when they do, a thread can be put in that respective section

The other thread was created in the BD section by RobertLuketic about 3 hours after I created my thread here in the UHD section. The administrators then moved RobertLuketic's thread to the UHD section, and the two threads were then merged a bit later.
