Also received my shipping notice this afternoon.
This is my first import from Germany, I am very happy to be able to buy this in 3D.

Now if only they would release Ferdinand, Hotel Trans 3 ..................................................

Operation Nussknacker 2 3D has been dispatched! haha, chose the cheapest shipping option for a grand total of $20.56 delivery by 3/15. I can wait. Not too bad and with English audio!

I got this through at the weekend, disc and sleeve are both labelled as Region B so the assumption has to be that it is region locked.

When you have a chance, please confirm if the english audio can be played without subtitles, and if the credits/title are also in english.

Thank you

This is bad news indeed. It was listed as region free when I placed my order.
I do not have a region free player and obviously would not have purchased this if it was region B.

Will amazon refund me on this? It hasnt arrived yet in the mail. I will wait to contact them I guess

Checking the amazon page now it says Region B...............

Same for me. I will have to contact Amazon Germany when mine arrives if we are 100% sure this is region locked.

If it was listed as Region Free on site and esp in your order summary then I've never had Amazon not offer a refund -- I know that happened to several folks with Pinocchio and Ratatouille 3D way back and more recently Doctor Who S9

One UK poster on HomeTheaterForum said his disc was glitching/freezing skipping, but it sounds like 13th Man had no issues

I'm sure there are some Region Free people in the US that would be happy to take a cheap deal if Amazon has to refund you. So many of these smaller companies so often you label it B regardless so it's still a decent chance it's region A compatible until proven otherwise. I can't tell whether the13thman tried as Region A and don;t remember if he's even region free though I'd be shocked if he's not)

I just checked my invoice and the order details page. There is nothing concerning the region code.

Guess I should have taken a screenshot way back in Dec. when I bought it

Good think there are several of you in the same boat so if Amazon gets multiple complaints then at least they know it isn't just one person.

OTOH, there surely are some other back up screen shots around and even in Amazon's systme to show that they changed the listing,

I do have a Region A player but I don't use it for testing purposes or anything other than playing Region A locked discs, I want to keep it alive as long as I can. I'm sure there will be region free Region A folk who will be able to confirm the region coding soon enough.

Anyway, the film played fine for me, no freezing or glitching whatsoever. The 3D isn't particularly strong but is decent enough - good volume and separation, a few deep shots and some fun pop-outs and slow motion shots. As with the first movie, the best pop-out involves popcorn:

It doesn't poke things in your eye but there are quite a few bits of mild pop-out throughout (hands coming out of the screen etc) with the odd blink-and-you-miss it stronger moment. More Disney than DreamWorks overall, but respectable enough.

The only issue for me was that in scenes backed by music, the dialogue was sometimes way way too low in the mix to the extent that I couldn't make it out. I was watching through my TV but I usually do that with no problems so I'm not sure how much better it would sound on a 5.1 setup given that the guy on the HTF thread said the same thing.

Subtitles can be switched on or off from the menu and are not forced on the English audio. Only the title comes up in German - the credits are otherwise in English (the end credits feature the American voice cast, with the German credits separately added at the very end).

Received mine today! The reverse artwork (without ratings logo) is the same as the cancelled UK 3D edition (except in German)

I probably won't be able to check the disc for a week or so though... Hell I haven't even fully watched the first one yet !
