Any idea if we will get a UV/VUDU code with this release?

There is a VUDU version for this film, and I have found that not all Walmart releases are labeled InstaWatch. I purchased 1941 in store, and it did not come with a UV code, but was able to use the SavingsCenter app to get a VUVU code via email.

Well at least the audio gets a good write up in that review. Love adding new movies with Herrmann scores to my collection. Too bad about the video though..

Unless Bernard Herrmann's score is available on this disc as an isolated audio track, I'll probably give this a pass.

At least I won't have to haunt Wal-Mart stores looking for it. Every dark cloud...

Too bad. Let's hope it gets a remaster from Shout Factory or Criterion. It's after all one of the seminal sci-fi films of the 60s.

This really doesn't seem like the kind of thing they'd pick up. Ah well. I might get it if it ends up in the 5 dollar bin, as I don't have the DVD.

Clicking the link that I had posted above, the website is showing that shipping is unavailable, but it is allowing for in-store pick up. Every store within my area appears to have these in stock.
