Westworld: Season One 4K UHD (2016)

Warners love to bitstarve their TV stuff on Blu-ray though, so 10+ hours of show plus all the extras on three discs sounds about right to me. But 3x triple stackers for the UHD, now THAT's what I call music. This being a TV show I can't see it having a ton of alternative language options on disc though, not the double-figures of the average Warners movie release anyways.

I would be highly surprised if HBO Home Video didn't cash in on re-releasing Game of Thrones in 4K though!

Interesting. I'm usually against buying TV Shows on disc but the jump from HBO Now to 4K is a lot bigger than HBO Now to BD. I probably will snag this because I loved the first season and I'd be really surprised if the show ends up going past this 2 more seasons at most (extremely expensive, a pretty self-contained story).

Floodgates seem to be opening for 4K, pretty exciting.

I'm saving up already. Hopefully Warners will put out all those Nolans in a boxset though.

Even if it does indeed turn out to be a 2K DI, I will be all over this! In fact, I already preordered it because it will be a nice improvement over my DVR and HBO Go streams plus the addition of lossless audio and HDR grading.

Excellent news! Watched the entire season once but do fancy watching it again. If the 4K version is a decent upgrade vs the regular bluray, I'm all in.

They have story outlines for at least 5 seasons. Of course, that doesn't mean it will make it that far, but as long as people watch and enjoy it, I think it will

The first four episodes are actually excellent, but you won't appreciate them until you've finished watching it. Westworld went form being a show I watched out of boredom in the first half of the season to my favorite show by the second half. I've already rewatched it on streaming and I can't wait to rewatch it again in 4k.

It appears to be a tin, not a Steelbook, so if you don't like the tin, you can sell it or something and just keep the case inside.
