Maybe, but this isn't an HBO Home Video release like Game of Thrones. It's a Warner-only release like The Leftovers.

I would be highly surprised if HBO Home Video didn't cash in on re-releasing Game of Thrones in 4K though!

Well spotted. I hadn't found the UK option. I've pre-ordered the USA release presuming it was the tin illustrated at the head of this thread but if it's not then I'll.move to the UK release which is clearly NOT the tin.
