Nah, I don't think they are sweating anything. They will simply make plans to transition to Blu-ray. They really haven't lost much...yet. Paramount was late to DVD and their obligation to Toshiba may not last 18 months if Toshiba is brought into the fold to make this transition smooth. I wonder if Universal will make an announcement of neutrality at CES.

They will go Neutral first. Probably ease out of HD DVD just like Warner is. I wouldn't be surprised if they announce neutrality at CES and drop HD DVD support around May when Warner does as well.

It would be funny, Universal shows up minus Graffeo, says they are going neutral. Then the next day Graffeo "steps down"... good riddance.

I'd say Paramount because Universal has Ken Graffeo who is just like Baghdad Bob.

What will be hilarious is if Universal or Paramount has the nerve to ask for money to go Blu.

Hopefully at least Universal and Weinstein.

As a lover of movies and not just technology who buys neutral titles in blu, but exclusives in red, I'd like to see the studios move quickly on this. I have no desire to continue to buy hd dvds now, but I want to watch SD movies even less.

The deck of cards will come down fast now.

1 of the big 2 that are left with HD DED will go neutral at CES.

Can I preorder Transformers on BLU at Amazon yet?
