Never got the Shout release so I'm in but I'll wait for a standard edition which will (hopefully) come soon.

Just ordered from Zavvi. They do have a "lower price guarantee" which I hope kicks in, since it's currently about 25 quid right now....

Man, I have the Shout release and it's one of their best ones. Still, that book, commentary and versions featurette... I think I need this anyway. Shit. Better not sell out on Amazon in a heartbeat while I sleep.

Whist on the subject of Stephen King adaptations, we seriously need a quality release of Cronenberg's The Dead Zone from a UK label (preferably Arrow or Indicator).
The Dead Zone was one of several DEG titles (Halloween 2 and 3, Amityville 2 and 3, Firestarter) that seem to get passed as a packaged from Castle to Sanctuary in the UK.

I'm not sure if Zavvi's the right place to order boxsets... Since they've a tendency of sending them in jiffy bags.

This will have a better encode. Enough to warrant selling off Scream's disc? We shall see.

While Arrow's release may carry encoding improvements, the Shout release is quite excellent on its own (watched it just last month) so I will pass on the double-dip.

I'm hesitant because of Arrow squeezing everything onto one disc what SF spaced out over two.

Amazon link is up! ‪https://www.amazon.co.uk/Carrie-Blu-.../dp/B075TNGS2T just preordered!! So glad I didn’t waste money on the SF one. Arrow is always better and I probably would have double dipped anyways

Yeah, just like the House trilogy, Hellraiser trilogy, Deep Red limited edition, and countless others that they advertised as region locked and they were actually region free.
