It would take some pretty matching artwork to make me sign up for all 3. How it works is if I pass on one they will release matching artwork for the whole MCU, but if I get all 3 the line stops here.

Will this be a 1 disc, 2 disc or 3 disc steelbook like the original Viva Metal Box? Its getting closer to release day and Best Buy haven't listed a whole lot of information about this release other than it is a steelbook of the first Avengers movie, I would hope that it is a bluray/dvd combo at the most & it probably won't include a slot for the 3D version of the movie.

Blu-ray and digital only if I had to guess, considering that was the most recent release for the 10th anniversary.

I have a feeling we'll start seeing MCU films in 4K when the final Avengers releases next year. It would make sense to do maybe half before Infinity War and half before the final film in 2019 but Disney would rather have everyone's money all at once.

I don't know why they're re-releasing ones that already have steelbooks. They should do one for Iron Man 3 - the only one of the Iron Mans not to get special packaging.

The Avengers doesn't have an actual steelbook. The 2012 release is a viva metal box.

I have it on Steelbook. Not a US Steelbook, but it is region free. Cool art, too, with the arc reactor on the front.

It’s pretty obvious.

1) It never received a steelbook in the US.
2) It is a money making title.
3) There are new fans that purchase every day.

What I don’t know is why there is this flawed logic that if a certain title is re-released it’s a given that another title is being delayed, or not happening.
