Is this playing IMAX screens? The local theaters usually don't put Thursday night previews up till Monday or Tuesday, but I noticed the IMAX has Solo scheduled at 12:30 & 3:30 with nothing playing (yet) Thursday night. Can't imagine the other openers this week would rate the big screen experience...

Whatever screen it's on, six days to go!

I would think Adrift would be more an IMAX movie than this considering the storm part of the film but honestly doubt either opener gets that treatment.

Well, my plans to see A Quiet Place this week have been canned but I'll try and catch this either Friday or Saturday. Looks like a lot of ultra violent fun.

Two of my area theaters had this listed earlier this week and now do not have it listed. I stopped at one of them on my way home just now and was told they won’t be showing it at all. That’s disappointing. I had four people all with MoviePasses ready to go see it tomorrow night.

We are getting it here, at least, but only one theater in Memphis is listing this for the usual Thursday night previews. Nothing for Action Point or Adrift, either. Weird. Guess I'll go to the sketchy theater in the sketchy neighborhood tomorrow night. Been looking forward to this for months, not missing it.

Credits are rolling, will post more when I get home. Short version? Upgrade is an absolute damn masterpiece. Leigh Whannell has crafted the movie of the year.

I came back from a 7pm show here and I second that statement.
It's definitely the best movie I've seen this summer so far, if not one of the best movies this year.

This totally lives up to the hype and then some.
