I can't comment on bonus features just yet. They're still a work in progress and require approvals. I wouldn't want to say "Yes" to anything just yet only to have it not be true later on. But once we have everything locked and approved, there'll be another announcement.

One of the better Disney shows in recent years, will highly likely buy this. Now if we can just get Gargoyles, Superman TAS, The Powerpuff Girls (1998 original, not that godawful 2016 reboot), and My Life As a Teenage Robot on Blu-ray too, those will complete my dreams.

TaleSpin was completed on DVD with Vol. 3. Unless you're referring to the uncut version of the TV movie / pilot, which I would like to have and should've been included with the final TaleSpin volume (I am forever grateful they included the banned "Flying Dupes", though).

I'll take what I can get (what you can give me) however, Gravity Falls complete being one of them.

At this point, I'd just take the movie on Blu-ray. I'm sure someone at Warner Archive could take care of it, any day now...

I read that extras are WIP, but I just want to say this; I'm aware what happened, but for completists sake, I think Weirdmageddon Parts 1 and 3 (or 3 and 4 depending on which version they're using for the finale) should have both audio options for Louis CK and Alex Hirsch as the voice of The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity.

My kids watched this when it was on. It is very funny to say the least. 80's references galore like Regular Show. If you like Stan Against Evil, you will love this cartoon in the same vein(Little town, big problems and just as weird). And if you have a high end television like an OLED, it's going to light up like a Christmas Tree. This is one of the prettier cartoons I have ever seen. Disney XD had a good feed, so this cartoon always looked good when it aired. Zombie Karaoke rules!!

From what I've seen, this looks like a fun show, and it's cool to see Disney license something to Shout! It opens up so many possibilities. I would love to see Gargoyles completed. DMC released the Season 2 Part 2 set a good 8 years after Disney released both Season 1 and Season 2 Part 1, but that was 5 years ago. Still no word on Season 3.

Also still waiting on some Cartoon Network shows, even on DVD. If Shout!, or anyone, finally releases the rest of Dexter's Laboratory (or at least the original 90s run), I will die happy.

Good call on Gargoyles, I totally forgot about that show. Watched it quite often. The evil gargoyle chick was kind of hot, lol.

Never seen the show but I've heard so many great things. $80 is steep but I'll have to see if it drops a little.

Between this, Avatar, B:TAS, and all the original South Park seasons, animated shows on Blu-ray seem to be in full force. Fingers crossed for Phineas and Ferb and Nick TMNT.

I wanted to clear up a few things on this board as there seems to be some confusion.

1: There are 3 versions being produced: 6 DVD version set with all episodes, 7 DVD version set with all episodes + bonus features, and 7 Blu-ray set with all episodes + bonus features. So the only way to get the set on Blu-ray is to go with the 7 disc version. The 6 DVD version is a B&M play only for people who want just a basic version.

2. The 7 disc versions are not LE. They will be sold in this configuration for the life of the project.

3. We do not have any other deals with Disney right now. I helped to bring Gravity Falls to Shout Factory, and that was quite difficult to do. My hope is that if this is a successful enough project, that it will open the doors to other Disney properties. Believe me, I want to see shows like DuckTales, Gummi Bears, TaleSpin, and many others completed on DVD.

I'm happy to answer questions people may have, though bear in mind there are certain things I cannot divulge at this time, and some I probably won't ever be able to. But please feel free to ask and I'll answer what I can.

And if this helps verify what I'm saying, here's me reaching out to creator Alex Hirsch a year ago to get his help in releasing the show:

One thing I wanna ask that I know you may not be able to answer; but if this set is a success, could it lead to other non-Disney kid shows getting Blu-rays (like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic or Nickelodeon shows)?

I’ll have to figure a way to display this set along with my Journal 3 Special Edition. Just looked up eBay prices for the book and I can’t believe they can go for $1250 now. I think I paid $100 or less for mine from Barnes and Noble

@Kwyjibo
Wonderful to have someone so involved with the set on the board. Huge thanks to you and all involved in bringing the show to blu!
It might be too early to know yet, but any idea if the blus will be region-locked?

Thanks for getting English subs included. That's not a given for Shout! TV sets, so I appreciate it.

The BD set is a day 1 buy for me.

Really happy for the people who want to get this, but personally, what gets me most excited about this being released is the thought of Shout! releasing Touchstone Pictures blu rays.

I would be surprised if it wasn't a huge success considering the following this show has. If Disney warms-up to doing more stuff like this I'd love to see Wander Over Yonder get some love, seeing as Diz never really gave it a chance.
