Since I have the two phase sets I’d probably just get the regular editions of these so I can put these films on my shelves with the rest of my films lol

You have to wait to get the ultimate Phase 1-3 collection. It'll come with 4k, Blu-Ray, 3-D (when available), and digital copies of all the movies from Iron Man thru Avengers 4. They'll be stacked in a giant Thanos replica case. May or may not include special features

As long as the Cap trilogy survives something like this would be nice:

I didn't spend good money on a sound system to get sub par audio. If the audio sucks I'll just stick with my BD's as my 4k player does a really good job of up-scaling

The first cover reminds me of Born in the USA.

Call me an idiot but I bought those new Steelbooks for this and AoU so I can use them for these 4K versions coming out.

Interested to see how this one comes out. I always thought it looked pretty bland/made for TV. It can't do anything about the camera work, but it'd be good if the UHD can make something more cinematic out of it with the HDR/WCG

I was thinking the same thing when I watched it again last weekend. Although, it looked pretty great on OLED, so I'd be curious to see what an HDR pass would do with it.

Begs the question why didn't they release these 4K discs in the recent Best Buy exclusive Steelbooks?

So now they can get a triple or quadruple dip.

I'm guessing Best Buy simply doesn't have that kind of money.

Not Doctor Strange it was forgettable but Iron Man 1 is the best MCU film and it should be on 4K UHD day 1.

Movies like Thor 1-2 and Doctor Strange and Iron Man 3 shouldn't get released on 4K UHD but the rest should.

I'll gladly take IM1-3 on UHD (proper transfers). Not interested in any of Thor films.

"Steve, shut down the disc replicators- Deric2014 doesn't like those ones!"

Not sorry to be the Iron Man 3 apologist because it was a necessary reset button the MCU needed. Stakes needed to be lowered; having to save the world every movie would've fatigued the audience.

Thor 2 can still die in a fire of course but it should still be released on UHD.
