I lol'd at the inclusion of Congo.

I think Paramount needed to fill a couple slots so Apocalypse Now and Congo got picked. I remember my brother and I LOL-ing watching Congo on VHS when they shoot down the heat seeking missiles with flare guns out the side of the plane. Not even on the same level as the Ride of the Valkyries sequence.

I dunno why but I always thought Changing Lanes was also part of the Jack Ryan collection too.

Those are the two I’m in for and love. Blind buys? If you haven’t seen them you may not want to go in blindly, those two especially are probably not as modern audience friendly.

I find this art very confusing haha
Obviously they wanted 5 pictures to symbolize there's 5 movies, but for some reason they didn't want to put Harrison Ford twice. Which complicates it more, because now they put Sean Connery on here even though he never played Jack Ryan, although he was the poster face for the movie while Alec Baldwin (in a very creepy pic) wasn't. Then you have Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman smooshed together from the poster, but they couldn't find a pic of Ben Affleck in a stillshot from the movie somewhere like they did for Alec Baldwin?
I'm not even a Jack Ryan fan so I won't be buying this, but I just thought this was odd lol

I watched the trailers, and they seemed like movies I'd enjoy. actually all 4 look great, but I thought these 2 would be the safest to blind buy

Don’t think too hard. They just wanted the 6 most famous faces from the movie on the cover. That’s it

Box set

I like the first three enough that this is a good enough price alone but I'm torn on supporting the practice.

The blu-ray art just looks a lot better (actual poster art for each) and they easily could've just used that. It's strange they went out of their way to make a new one and this is what they came up with for the 4K UHD.

Still kinda unnecessary for Conry and Freeman on the art. Not like you see any bond villians on a 007 collection.

While $70 is a pretty decent price for 5 movies, I'm thinking it's going to go to $50 by the time of release. Maybe less?
