Only title I want from LG is 1990's Narrow Margin. There's no point in wishing for some of their deep catalog B stuff.

Lionsgate needs to release a BD of SPLIT IMAGE (1982). They own the rights and have a gorgeous 1080P version up on iTunes (of the previously unseen R-rated director's cut), so there's no good reason why it shouldn't be on disc.

Paramount has a vast assortment of catalog titles that need the HD treatment. In addition to the titles already mentioned, it would be great to see Blu-Rays of:

THE POSSESSION OF JOEL DELANEY
LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH
TROPIC OF CANCER
THE KEEP

I second "Split Image". That's a great one. I always would like "Vice Squad", with Wings Hauser...

Slasher Video (which I believe is part of Olive) actually just changed their Facebook banner to the poster of THE KEEP. They've been fairly silent about it, but I'd say based on the fact that they're a new label...it's possible that they'll do this one on bluray.

It's been said elsewhere, but Play it Again, Sam is one of just a handful of Woody Allen films still not out on Blu-ray Disc.

The Keep won't happen. Michael Mann seems determined to keep that one out of the public eye. Oddly it's available in SD on iTunes but I don't see that one ever getting an HD release.

Not sure what his problem is. It's not a great film, but it's not as horrible as he makes it seem. Would love to see this get a release.

Basically, due to studio shenanigans and budget cuts, it never had a chance to be the movie he intended to make, so he’d rather it never be seen again.

Split Image was a early Polygram title that while Orion distributed, is now currently owned by Universal (Lionsgate however, holds digital streaming & TV rights to the Universal owned early Polygram catalog including AAWIL due to LG/Artisan's inheritance of the TV rights from Hearst Entertainment).

I say ether Arrow, Criterion, or Shout Select have a shot if Universal has it available for licencing, otherwise Uni may put it out themselves at some point.

Would definitely take a special edition bluray of Silver Bullet from Paramount & a special edition of Hellraiser Bloodline from Lionsgate.

I'd give anything for Paramount to get going on releasing their catalog or license out to Warner again. Quite a few titles I still need from them. It really bothers me that they are licensing to Kino along with Touchstone (another studio I still need a good amount of titles from) as I'm not a Kino fan much at all.

God yes, Young Sherlock Holmes is about 8 years overdue for a bluray, should have hit the scene around one of the RDJ movies, ah well, we can live in hope.

Everyone keeps (no pun intended) saying it's Michael Mann who is preventing The Keep from being released but what if it's Paramount? Has Mann publicly said he doesn't want the film released? Kino was almost there at one point - that means that a release is entirely possible. Maybe it's a music rights thing or something else. In any case, I have a fair quality bootleg of the film and, while I thought it was fairly good as popcorn entertainment, it's nothing breathtaking.

It's Michael Mann for sure. The reason the Kino (or was it Olive?) didn't happen is because Mann apparently caught wind of it and prevented it from being released. There was a lot of studio intervention on that movie and the end result was not the film Mann wanted to make. It was cut from like 3 hours down to 90 mins. The production was littered with problems too, the visual effects supervisor died during post-production as well and nobody knew how he wanted the visual effects to work, they had to re-shoot a lot of scenes (the ending) without the original crew because the film ran way over budget and way over schedule. A lot of the movie doesn't work, it's true, and this is coming from Mann himself.

It's an incredibly mediocre movie I think, and I can understand him wanting to distance himself from it, it was one of his worst experiences as a filmmaker. But the movie has its fans, he should let it be released for that reason alone. It's not like I'd think any less of Mann because of this one movie that he didn't have control over. He's well-established as a great filmmaker. Even Hitchcock had duds.
