So I couldn't wait for Fifa 19 and I am currently running play drills with Alex Morgan and I am freaking out. I know it's not really me and her playing but geeze the campaign mode really draws me in as the character playing with her.
Here is my small PS4 games collection. ![]() |

i didn't want to start a new thread, but in a different situation here. i just replaced my launch PS4 3 months ago with a Slim, as I had no plans of upgrading to 4K yet. Well last week I got a new 4K HDR TV and Sony x700 player. I was thinking on getting the PS4 pro Red Dead bundle since I dont have the game yet, which i know has the HDR issue. Is it worth getting the Pro now with the PS5 getting close? I have researched the comparisons and one said only get it if you dont have a PS4. I'm leaning towards the Pro but still not sure.

You all have made the right choice going with the pro over the standard. Especially if you have a 4KTV with HDR. It's not just about the resolution or even the HDR, but it's more about the frame rate and the increased ANTIALIASING! The aliasing on edges of geometry and shadows completely removes me from games. Smoother edges make everything seem so much more real!
You can see my post about the PS4 Pro vs PS4 here. Last edited by ckenisell; 12-03-2018 at 06:48 AM. |

Got a Pro a couple of weeks ago (had some vouchers to spend) which now sits alongside my original PS4. Had hoped that with the more powerful machine No Man's Sky would be more stable but nope, the game still freezes
![]() Also, having not looked into it before getting the Pro I was a little surprised that it's bigger than my original, was convinced it would be smaller. |

I'm starting to wonder if 1TB HDs aren't as reliable. I've had a Pro for a year and suddenly started getting sporadic freezing in the last three games I've played, (Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Farcry 5, and AC Odyssey. With Tomb Raider it only happened a couple times, in one or two different specific areas of the game, one of which a "streaming" message flashed on the screen while it was frozen. So, I figured it was an internet thing, despite being in single player without PS Plus. With Farcry it only happened in one place, but was so bad I thought I wouldn't get through it to be able to finish the game. I, likely erroneously chalked that one up to being a game bug, even though I couldn't find any other reports of the problem online. With AC Odyssey it was happening almost every single night, the game would freeze or like go into slow motion for a minute or two before going back to normal. I related it to Skyrim, figured the game was too large or ambitious for the system. Then I had a flawless night and started overwriting my saves in that same slot every night and it hasn't happened since, (knock on wood). Which leads me to believe there's a bad or partially corrupted sector on my HD, even though the storage is little more than half used.
