So Suspiria should be similar. If not, I'm sure it'll at least be good considering the high price. I can't wait for Suspiria and the Climax digibook (not from Koch though). Germany is killing it. |

4K discs don't have regions. There is a *possibility* that the standard Blu in said 4K package may be locked to one region.

But we don't even know yet, if there is Atmos on the disc yet (I actually doubt it and it doesn't say so anywhere).
If the listed English subs are correct, I think it's more likely that both the BD and the UHD-BD have them though - it would be odd otherwise. Having said that, a Koch release is by no means guaranteed to include English subs. |

I would also just wait for actual information on the disc before calling it a joke. As of today I expect it to be the best version available. Koch is doing great work. There's also nothing wrong with Neon Demon for that matter. As usual I don't get the negativity. Yes, if you need English subs, you may be ****ed for ex, but that's not really a fault of a German release. |

All I see is DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 listed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Sorry bro.
Slightly OT, but overhead or not, DTS has always been better than Dolby to my ears. DTS-HD MA (although it depends on the movie) gives dialogue and objects much better depth and clarity, while Dolby Atmos is too focused on the bass. And then there's me who just plain and simple can't stand immersive audio. It makes me mad for some reason. So I'm glad Koch is staying with DTS if that rumor is true. I have three discs so far and their audio tracks have been spectacular, and The Neon Demon was near demo-worthy. Back to Suspiria, I really wouldn't be 100% sure about English subtitles though. Basically all we can do is wait. Edit: I’ll let you guys know first thing when this arrives here. Last edited by meowingdogs; 01-23-2019 at 10:59 PM. |

What you don't grasp is that a lot of people, myself included, really don't give a **** about Atmos, because they don't have Atmos and never intend to have it - for me 5.1 was the end of the line
![]() Sorry pal, I actually find the Atmos crowd utterly annoying and you're a perfect example. I always wonder how they cope without bottom speakers? The immersion! My point being: You want Atmos. You stated so several times by now. That's fine. ![]() |
