Nothing too important to add, other than to say that when I clicked on this thread I was momentarily under the impression that Robert Eggers directed The Witch and Midsommar and Ari Aster directed Hereditary and The Lighthouse.

Eggers' first two films are both dynamite, and Anya Taylor-Joy is one of my favourite actors working. Looking forward to this.

I respected the lighthouse but I wanted to love it, just like I loved the witch. Seems this latest film will be much more up my alley, reven though vikings seems to me, by this time, a more exhausted and tiresome theme than zombies

How many Viking movies and shows have there really been lately?? I can only think of the show "Vikings".

Zombies are for the most part still going full steam ahead. They have been played out for a long time now.

there have been a.lot of movies about vikings, and documentaries, in the past 10 years, I dont find them that interesting to begin with, but by now they've run its course.

I mean, if this director can spot a new angle, then its alright, like I said this sounds like it could be exciting.

zombies were rarely interesting, the first movie that everyone raves about by romero, its absolute garbage, i mean pure trash, and very few were salvageable. the walking dead had like 2 pasable seasons, then it became the worst show in the history of the human or zombie race.

You don't have to like Night of the Living Dead but the fact that you're one of those types that writes off a movie they don't like as absolute garbage and pure trash tells me your opinions on film and cinema are worthless.

It's hilarious how now days there is no middle ground with reviewing something. It's either the greatest gift to cinema or as so many people now days like to use, "trash". Not an insightful or educated criticism.
