And to think my family and I just watched the trilogy yesterday. Let's hope the accompanying BDs get the new scans.

I'm not sure why anyone would avoid the sequels. Are they as good as the original? No, but all three are one cohesive story.

I'll pass on two and three simply because I don't like them. Even as a kid I didn't care for the sequels and I didn't feel any better about them when I revisited them as an adult. I'm fine with just getting the original.

This is my favorite 4K announcement to date. Ever since I was just a little kid constantly watching the VHS tape, Back to the Future has been my favorite film and it’s become my most wanted 4K upgrade. Fantastic news for one of the greatest achievements in film history. There are few films that can be called “perfect” and this is one of them.

Already have them in every conceivable format... but III in 4K should look amazing so... what the hell....

Here's hoping for a nice collector's set, like the complete adventures Blu ray set.

A Delorean or a Clock Tower would work. Maybe a signed picture of them in front of the clock tower too.

I wholeheartedly disagree with you. Each and every one of them are some of the best movies to ever be made. My favorite trilogy of all time! I shouldn't be offended but I'm such a big fan that I slightly am

My thoughts exactly. I wish Universal could go back in time and fix those films. In the meantime, I'm excited about this news.

Back to the Future is in my top 10 movies of all time and I plan on upgrading my top 10.

Hey, I'd feel the same if anyone said the same about The Mighty Ducks. It's the full trilogy or gtfo.

Superb news! 2020 could be a sensational year for 4K BD, with BTTF, LoTR, hopefully Star Wars and possibly (I hope) Game of Thrones.
