There is some discussion in the UK thread about the conversion details from someone who sounds like they worked on the set

I'm just not sure if it looks and sounds great why the mechanics matter much

to be clear i ordered it direct from Network. They said dependent on your mailing address is whether or not it comes as 50i or 60i frame rate. I live in Los Angeles, on my oppo 203 it says 59.90i on the discs running and they play perfect. Now on the bottom of the season digipacks it says region A,B,C, which pretty much means it covers all the planet then. So i think we are all getting the same regardless. But Buyer Beware, 9 out of 10 of these sets shiped is coming in with little to major interior damage to them. All these comes from faulty cheap interior design that does NOT hold the 16oz digipacks(there are 4) in place with ripping the cheap cardboard spaces between them, or even the sides of the box without rips.

LOL @ the idea they took so much care in restoring them only to be "lazy" when converting.

I was worried when I saw all the reports of sets being sent and received damaged. I ordered two copies of this, one from Network (for my dad for X-mas) and for me, from Amazon. Both arrived with no damage whatsoever, fortunately. The Amazon one, in fact, was packed in a large box, with the box set itself inside of another smaller packing box within the big box, so both entities must be stepping up their game to take better care to ship them.

Got mine from Amazon. The box is completely trashed on the portions that hold the blu-rays and one whole side is torn to the bottom of the package. This stinks.

Got mine from Network yesterday. Only one outer corner was squashed a bit, but the the inner box is a disaster. Every piece on the inside is broken and detached. Ugh.

Mine was the same. Take a picture and send it to them. They have a limited number of replacement boxes available.

Is there any confirmation that they received your request for a new box? I sent mine in last week and I haven't gotten any response.

No response yet. I was replying directly to their email listing the possible remedies they had come up with, and did so within an hour of receiving said email.

I ordered mine directly from Network. Given the many reports of damaged packaging in transit, I was expecting the worst- but mine came with only a small tear on one of the interior cardboard holders. Absolutey nothing consequential. The discs themselves look great. A really great restoration and one of the best releases of the year. Just be prepared for damaged interior cardboard inserts, as that appears to be a common complaint

Mine is due to arrive from Amazon US tomorrow and I've already made peace with the fact that it will most likely be damaged. Half of the books and movies I receive from them do. Has anyone in the states attempted an exchange yet?
