I have them both, Tekkonkinkreet looks gorgeous. These are not like Cowboy Bebop, etc which I find I can just pop on and enjoy without too much input. These two movies require you take time to actually sit down and watch them properly.

I liked Paprika, while not an A list movie, it was solid.

Tekkon I could not stand, I didn't find it intresting at all.

I can understand people having a distaste for Paprika; It wasn't the sum of its own parts and in a sense it was just Paranoia Agent the OVA. Don't throw the Satoshi kon baby out with the bathwater though. Tokyo Godfathers & Millenium Actress were great imho and I hope to see them get a blu release.

I want them on Blu with a DUB! The DVD releases were sub only. That made me sad =(
