Not sure what that means exactly.

It means that Diabolik is basically the distributor. Doesn't matter if you order from them or Cauldron's website, Diabolik will be where it ships from.

I grabbed Abrakadabra. Looks great. Reminds me of The Editor and as a love letter to gialli, without the wink wink of Editor.

I'll wait on American Rickshaw for reviews and will be keeping an eye on their future releases.

Abrakadabra and American Rickshaw have been delayed.

Hello cult film fans!

As you may know, we launched Cauldron and pre-orders about a week before all the shutdowns happened due to Covid-19. This may not come as a surprise, but with production and manufacturing slowdowns, we have to bump the release date for ABRAKADABRA & AMERICAN RICKSHAW to June 23rd. We waited this long to announce the delay because we wanted to see where production was and give the best date possible to avoid any other delays. We really appreciate everyone that has put in a pre-order for our first 2 titles and we will be keeping the special bundle price active for those interested. Your pre-orders have warmed our hearts and reinforces our future. A few people have asked and we'd like to clarify: Shutdowns due to Covid-19 have in no way impacted the future of the company. We have been working hard on our next wave of releases as well as acquiring some titles we are (and we're sure you will be) very excited about, which we will announce at a later date. Starting out with a delay is not exactly the way we thought it would go, so we ask, please hang in there, keep watching weird movies, and thanks for your support!

With the Jun 23rd release date looming, next to nothing from Cauldron on social media or early reviews to hype these initial releases. Kind of odd since they're a new label...

Not odd when you factor in this unprecedented pandemic and turbulent overall climate. It must be especially hard for a new company to be doing business at this time.

Yeah, but remember these releases were already delayed. I actually pre-ordered these along with the Django set from Diabolik. I know Django is already shipping, but unfortunately it looks like I guessed wrong on the Cauldron titles shipping too.. It would be nice if Diabolik, who seem to be a big backer of Cauldron, would let everyone know what is going on with these.

Pretty sure Jesse from Diabolik is running Cauldron. He’s been posting about the company on his fb page in the first person.

If the pre-orders haven't started shipping from Diabolik yet, then I think it's safe to say there will be another delay.

That would make sense. Well, if anyone is going to get those releases first, it's Diabolik then. Hopefully they ship out soon.

Asked Jesse at Diabolik about the Cauldron release dates and he said that they are on the way to him as he was typing the e-mail. Looking forward to there first offerings, which should start shipping out very soon. Yet another reason why Diabolik is fantastic!!
