Nadja (Michael Almereyda, 1994) - The other great black and white vampire film of the 90s. Rights: Almereyda

Dangerous Encounters of the First Kind (Tsui Hark, 1980) - A masterpiece from Tsui Hark about three teenagers being blackmailed into anarchism. Rights: no idea

Tusk (Alejandro Jodorowsky, 1980) - Jodorowsky's most obscure film - obstensibly a children's film about an English girl and an elephant. Rights: Gaumont

Litan (Jean-Pierre Mocky, 1972) - Surrealistic French horror about a couple who arrive in a strange village during the Festival of the Dead.

Whity (R.W. Fassbinder, 1971) - Fassbinder does a western! Rights: R.W.F. Werkschau

Signs of Life (Werner Herzog, 1968) - Herzog's little seen debut feature about a wounded German soldier's descent into madness. Rights: WERNER HERZOG FILM GMBH

Gates to Paradise (Andrzej Wajda, 1968) - Wajda directs Jenny Agutter in his English-language British-Yugoslav co-production about the Children's Crusade of 1212. Rights: possibly with Avala Studios?
What is the other you're referring to?

Created a separate thread for Alphabet City, which I received yesterday in pristine condition from VS, a welcome outcome given this beauty of a slip:

Do we know what's next up for Fun City Editions? I'd like to go ahead and pick up the first two releases but if another is right around the corner I'll wait a lil' while.

It was a bit of a guilty pleasure, and the first DVD release featured two prior cuts of the film (Dying Day and Dark Night, respectively) that were drastically different than the finalized version (and each other). idk if it'd get licensed out, but I can only imagine how much stuff there'd be for a special edition Blu-Ray.
That's directed by Sam Sherman who was Al Adamson's partner.

Litan is from 1982 not 1972.

So is I Start Counting... a serial killer drama? Am I reading this right? I'm pretty interested regardless, since I love Jenny Agutter and have heard some good word on this movie.

Yes, it's a psychosexual thriller crossed with a coming-of-age narrative.

Watched my copy of Alphabet City tonight...haven't delved into the extras yet but the main feature looked fantastic projected on my 106" screen. I've always loved this movie, the plot maybe thread bare but it's one of the great time capsule movies of 70's & 80's NYC in my opinion.
Would love to get these NYC movies on blu ray someday Night Of The Juggler (1980), Law & Disorder (1974), Bloodrage (1979), Who Killed Mary What's 'Er Name? (1971), Forty Deuce (1982) & Story Of A Junkie (1985).

Thanks for supporting and posting! Hopefully, you'll dig the extras we created for it.

All great suggestions...some more feasible than others because of tricky rights situations.

I thought of this film as a possible Fun City Edition title when I saw the announcement for I Start Counting, Deadly Strangers (the cast includes Hayley Mills and Simon Ward).
