well I got a 360 & I do like it (but for the hight heat & loud sound output) BUT it is just a gaming machine. As I said, I hate the loud a$$ sound it puts outs & too use it for anything other then gaming is just dumb. The only way I would get one is if MS sent me one for Free & what is the odds of that?

When Blu wins MS sould offer a rebate for those dumba$$ that got the hddvd add-on or at lease a free BD movie.

Signed it. ...although I don't know if I want a 360. Maybe if they add the Blu capability I would consider buying one over an other PS3 or a Blu player for an other room.

People need to buy a stand alone or buy a PS3.
Support our companies, not theirs.
They can put a blu drive in their next system, but until them they can rot.
Do not feed me useless drivel about "but it will help blu ray get spread around", blu is growing just well on its own and will grow more and more.

I'm with Ookie on this. MS was of the founders of the anti-blu-ray movement. Notice I didn't say pro-HD DVD, because they were not completely. They only created the Xbox add on to hurt the PS3 anyway. They were also helpful/instrumental in taking Paramount away from Blu fans. And let's face it, the PS3 is a way better solution anyway. No, anything that supports MS I'm against. If Xbox owners want blu, let 'em buy a standalone or a PS3. If they buy a PS3, maybe they'll stop constantly fanboy bashing it when it's a great system.

At this point, it's probably be cheaper to buy a stand alone bd player than to buy an add on for the 360. The HD-DVD add on is still at $170 or something like that.

Lol well hey its the truth and the Xbox 360 is a perfect example. How many people suffered because of the ring of death? How many people suffered when Xbox 360 first came out and it had all of those viruses inside messing it up and overheating the Xbox 360? Have these happened to the PS3? No way

That never happened and is pure FUD, Virusing a 360 is incredibly difficult because the only online access it has is to a closed system, and since so far as I know no one has written a virus for its operating environment, it'd be very hard for an "in the wild" to infect it
