I'm pretty sure Pettyfer and Tatum had a falling out on the first movie. I think Pettyfer was staying in a house that Tatum owned and he trashed the place. He seemed like he was having problems with everyone during the brief time he was on top. I remember Pettyfer trying to explain himself on a podcast interview, but it felt more like he was trying to make excuses.

I'm more interested in if Big Sexy Kevin Nash is returning. Or any of the old gang.

Different demos. 80 For Brady is aimed at seniors, MM is aimed at women. It’s coming out the weekend before Valentines Day and will be the perfect film for that occasion.

WB neutering it like they allegedly are is going to inhibit it’s return potential.

The Numbers estimate 1,200-1,500. That's insane. I've seen tons of advertising for it. Never would have guessed it would open anywhere below 3,000 theaters. And there's no reason it should. I feel like plenty of women would go see this in groups for Galentine's Day.

If it does do really well in its subdued release they could always add theaters the second weekend for the President's Day holiday weekend. But it should be very wide right off the bat.

After House Party and this I assume this same kind of release is coming for Evil Dead Rise.

I was bummed they didn't return for the second one. But I wouldn't expect them to return anymore after that. I thought Cody Horn was so good and charming in the first. I don't know why she was hated on so much for that movie.

It makes no sense at all. Last two films made a very tidy profit on a small budget. This would have been much more of the same.
