I want individual releases in the same style as 1-5. They can release also a boxed set. But individual releases is a must.

It’d be interesting if similar to Child’s Play 2&3 having exclusive slips via the Shout bundles, if they make matching slips to continue the 1-5 line as an exclusive to certain Shout bundles that include this set. Being the hard slipboxes I’d assume they might only be part of some of the bigger Shout bundles if they do them for this set, and not be part of the cheapest poster bundle necessarily. I personally am also hoping for singles of each, but if not this would be a good alternative.

They better offer a free box for 1-5. 3/4 of their customer base has OCD including me.

Is there a source for this? This was released before SF really started doing 4K scans.

For the last time? Maybe?
The master for the H6 PC could easily be improved on. There are signs of artificial sharpening/edge halos and the grading could really use some extra work.

Oh for sure, but at least it's a more recent master and its foundations are sturdier than say H20 with its dirty, flat transfer, or Resurrection (speaking of edge halos!)

I'd be nice if they could at least do individuals as site exclusives.

Really hoping for individuals. Don’t want to buy Resurrection again.

Ah, so this might as well be called "The Dimension Collection." Got it. Was confused at first, and thought it was 1-8, not just 6-8. Should've figured, though, considering that box's artwork. If you had asked me what I think the artwork for a new boxset should be, I would have never, not in a million years, suggested the opening credits article montage from H20.

But yeah, that'd be Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, and Halloween: Resurrection.
Thanks for the scoop!

Can’t wait.

Legally they can’t call it The Dimension Collection as The Weinstein Company now Spyglass owns that brand. The films released before TWC took the name can keep the leader/logo and credits but they are now considered Miramax titles now.

The cover art is on Bullmoose's CDN but doesn't seem to have a corresponding page (yet?) visible on the front-end.

The URL for the cover art for Return of the Living Dead is https://az721511.vo.msecnd.net/images/1897/9486421.JPG . I was curious what would show up if I added or subtracted some numbers from that URL. I didn't have to go very far to find the Halloween box set, which is the number in that URL minus six (9486415.JPG).

Oh, I know; I also considered labeling it "The Miramax Collection," or, even more appropriately, "The Weinstein Collection," as one-half of the collection (H6 theatrical and Resurrection) are complete pieces of shit. But either way, I went with calling it "The Dimension Collection" because all three of the films reeeeeeek of Dimension Films (I mean, no shade to the Scream franchise, but let's be honest, Dimension Films had an aesthetic look, and those three Halloween films were it).

I was getting them all no matter what so I’m fine with a boxset! I’m sure it’s either most people won’t get Resurrection and they know this or they were told they could only release them as a set. An all or nothing type deal.

I wonder if Lionsgate is planning on releasing RZ's H and H II on 4K UHD this year to coincide with the release of Shout's 4K box set as well as the hype for H:Ends?
