It does for the Arrow commissioned art side. For the reverse with the poster, the Korean language title is there.

I love it best when the spines are all in the original language, even when I can’t read it. Feels most authentic.

It’s not like I’ll have a hard time finding what I’m looking for, especially since they have pictures on the spines to help you figure out what it is.

Okay, so what is a great, inexpensive region free player I could get to watch the non-4k movies on?

If you got a PS3 it can be hacked really easy for region free movies. Other than that grab a Panasonic Blu-ray player and use the top-menu trick to bypass the lock screen. I got both, works like a charm!

What's the PS3 hack? I do have one. However, it's the slim version if that makes a difference.

Custom firmware. On Silm units you have to install a soft version of it that has to be toggled on/off each time the system boots. Still does what regular custom firmware does and it's pretty easy to install.

Uh... Sorry, but I'm technologically impaired. I have no idea what the dudes in those videos are even saying. I just hear words.

What's the best region free player to buy?

What I mean is I am totally lost by the instructions that dude is saying to make the PS3 region free. I have to update to some specific firmware then go to a computer and open up some folder, download some file, which then I have to somehow access on the PS3 wirelessly, and then do another like 10 steps, etc. It's too much information as I'm overloaded.

Can I just download a simple file onto a flashdrive, plug it into the PS3, and install it that way?

It is basically that simple though! You just take it one step at a time. I personally get easily overloaded with instructions to do anything so I have to go slow one step at a time. The PS3 only needs to be connected to the internet for it to download part of the exploit after it's initiated. It is an exploit that isn't supposed to be done after all, that's why you have to jump thru some hoops to do it. Remember, one step at a time. It's easy and no specialized knowledge or equipment or complicated connection stuff is required. After it's installed it's a matter of clicking a button to turn it on and a button to change region.

If it makes you too nervous see if a friend can help you out. It's very worth doing and saves cash if you're able.

It won't be, as it shows in the video it's doable on the newest firmware update issued last May. No problem!

FYI, if you ever have any issues playing some Region B titles, it's likely because the region of the player itself needs to be changed as well (not just the disc region). This happened with my German TV miniseries release of Das Boot and was one reason I switched to a dedicated region-free player for a while. Problem is that NTSC PS3's apparently can't handle 50i content. You can fix this by upgrading to a developer firmware which will give you the option to change player region (Europe is recommended) in addition to disc region. Process is as painless as the basic CFW install. Can send you links to instructions and Youtube video if you're interested.

Yea that's true! Thankfully my console plays 50i content fine. It's a fat unit from 2009. So far it's played everything I've thrown at it without a hitch! The slim units and such are the most finicky when it comes to this stuff. My brother has a Super Slim that only takes PS Hen, at least at the time I hacked it for him.

Wow, that's interesting. Is it a Euro import? Weird that Sony would drop that feature from NTSC consoles for later revisions. Kind of tempted to test it out on one of my fat models.

Another quirk is that the fat models can't handle Dolby TrueHD or DTS:X but both the slim and super slim can. Tested the Atmos on Conjuring 2 on my PS3 last night after getting the itch to hook it up again and it really is impressive what those old consoles are capable of, especially considering how Sony has treated UHD on both the PS4 Pro and now the PS5.

Not a European model! Came from Best Buy summer 2009. No error messages and my TV switches over showing it's 50i. My old 1080p Vizio and TCL 4k do the same thing. Most of my European discs are 1080p tho. As far as 50i content goes I've only tried the UK Antichrist disc and one other I can't remember off the top my head.

The PS3 was made to be a big entertainment machine! It's still my main Blu player after all these years. Sony started dropping all those features to encourage buying all their gadgets as opposed to a media machine unfortunately.

Well, we'll see what happens. I think I'd rather just buy an all region player that's on the cheap instead of going through this hack hassle. Hacks and I don't exactly work well together. I always screw something up and wreck my machine.

Worse case scenario, I just rip the discs, it just would be nice to be able to watch the movies in 5.1 since my computer does not allow 5.1 audio to come out of my soundbar.
