Argh, now I'm not sure. I see the same image being attributed to Shaolin Wooden Men, and New Fist of Fury, so I think it's actually the former as that one seems to come up more

Oh, for sure? I see it used a lot for Shaolin Wooden Men too, but flipped. They're both 1976 films too, so maybe that has caused some confusion too.

I think it is Shaolin Wooden Men. (DVD covers can be confusing because they have lot of images from “collection” that combines different artwork)

From actual movie images I saw, New Fist of Fury has more open palm with his hands while Wooden Men has that claw form in images.

So I just scanned through both movies online right now and slightly confused. In Wooden Men, there is no point in the film where he fights with his shirt off. He does take his shirt off once during training, but has black pants.

New Fist of Fury he does have that exact uniform when he fights a bunch of students, but never with a waterfall in the background. However, there is a waterfall in Wooden Men.

I do wonder if it is just a 5-film set. The Sonny Chiba artwork seemed to comprise all of the films that were included with that one, and this is don by the same artist. That of course leaves 2 extra discs though..

Here is the uniform from New Fist of Fury

He doesn't have anything like this in Wooden Men from what I could see.

I wonder if these scans will be different from the 88 Films versions. That will be the biggest deciding factor for me plus what are bonuses are

I'd be happy if they were at least as good. I'm curious about the audio options as well.

Sorry, I didn't realize. I thought he had narrowed your list to include only the ones they are releasing.

On another forum someone else mentioned that the bottom left could be Wooden Men. I went through the film three times and couldn't find where this is from the film. However, having the same issue with New Fist of Fury in terms of finding the exact shot, even though he has a similar outfit there.

Hopefully it is a new scan of Battle Creek Brawl - fingers crossed 88 Films can then re-release it in the UK like they are with Snake And Crane Arts Of Shaolin. I'm surprised 88 Films haven't announced anymore Chan movies in their current Q1 release slate.

They’re teasing a BCB re-release on the bottom of their site.

Maybe they're including multiple cuts? I don't know. It seems strange when they stuck 7 movies on 4 discs for the Sonny Chiba set.

It looks like the volumes are going to cover a set amount of years, so if this volume is going to cover 1976-1982 then that's going to leave out some films SF previously had if they're not going to include them all here. But I'm just assuming that's how they're handling it.

Maybe the artist thought 5 Jackies was enough for the cover. I mean, we're having trouble distinguishing one of them.

I never thought I'd be the type to go back and buy old kung fu movies, but I recently watched Drunken Master for the first time and really enjoyed it. I didn't realize how funny Jackie Chan was early in his career.
